A strong, bold cocktail which may surprise you – fruity but not too sweet. A classic that has been around since 1953. Officially called The Parisian cocktail, it is a lively blend of equal measures of blackcurrant liqueur, gin and French vermouth.

Serves 1

30ml Organic Blackcurrant Sylvan Spirit

30ml Dry Vermouth

30ml HB’s organic Gin

Dash of lime juice

Put a large handful of ice into a jug or cocktail shaker.

Pour in all the alcohol.

Stir the ingredients briskly for 30-40 seconds to cool and dilute.

Strain into a serving glass. Add a squeeze of lime – taste and add another if liked. Savour slowly! This has a kick behind the fruit.
