On Wednesday we held the Organic Trade Board Networking Event. The event was joined by Biodynamic Association, Community Foods, Daykin Partnership, Doves Farm, Garden Organic, Daylesford, Meadow Quality, Organic Arable, Organico, If You Care and Wallaroo Foods.  The first part of the day was from the Organic Trade Board (OTB). We discussed what had happened in the past year, what members of the OTB want as part of their memberships and marketing plans for the up and coming Organic September. We then had a fantastic lunch from the Royal Oak. In the afternoon, we had farm safaris from James at Eastbrook Experiences. I think this was everyone’s favourite part; James is so knowledgeable about the farm. He showed us all the biodiversity and agroforestry aspects that are going on here aswell!

It was great to see the up and coming plans that the OTB has to offer. The main plan is Organic September, which is all very exciting. Everyone’s got so much exciting stuff happening. Chatting to everyone in person instead of a screen was the best part of the day and definitely felt a return back to normality. We finished the day with a Goody Bag from everyone’s products, what better way to celebrate everything organic and trying everyone’s products!

We are planning on working even more closely with the OTB. So make sure you follow both of us on social media to keep updated:
