Slow-cooked Pulled Pork has been lovingly sous vide for 12 hours, cooked to perfection, so all you need to do is pop them in the oven for 20 minutes when you get in the door. 

This slow cooked pork range gives you social, celebratory food with all the hard work taken out. Pork is a national treasure and this is pork at its best. They serve between 2 – 6 people depending on how you decide to serve and how hungry you all are!

Helen works with other farmers across the South of England producing great tasting organic British pork – slow cooked with a variety of flavours which infuse over 12 hours giving deeper taste results than with virtually any other method. 

Turmeric, chinese five spice, zingy ginger and fennel pulled pork – a modern twist on pulled pork. Warming exotic spices, deliciously tender slow cooked pork, an easy, quick and delicious dinner for any night of the week.

BBQ spiced pulled pork – the old school favourite, it’s got a little smokey kick too. Serve in soft rolls with coleslaw and fries on the side for an authentic BBQ experience without lighting the coals!

Cider, apples & thyme pork belly – there’s something lovely and rustic about this version; this pork belly, fragrant, fruity combo is absolutely delicious, best partners must be mash and greens?

Sweet Chilli pulled pork – sweet and sour flavours give an oriental feel, tender juicy pork goes especially well with noodles.

Honey, roasted garlic, star anise and fennel pork belly – meltingly tender, succulent organic pork for a fuss free family dinner. This is a gorgeous combination of rich flavours and spices.

Harissa spiced pulled pork – warm, aromatic Moroccan spices, this is a punchy new flavour that works well with couscous, it is so easy to pull a special dinner together.

FAQs

Can organic meat have antibiotics?

Organic is currently the only certified system that explicitly limits routine farm antibiotic use and requires farmers to use other methods to prevent and treat disease, with antibiotics only available as a last resort for sick animals.

Organic versus non-organic meat

Findings on new research from Newcastle University shows that organic meat is nutritionally different to non-organic meat.

  • Organic meat contains about 50% more beneficial omega-3 fatty acids than conventionally produced products. Western diets are deficient in these omega-3s and it is recommended that we double our intake.
  • Organic meat has lower concentrations of potentially harmful saturated fatty acids (associated with blood cholesterol and insulin resistance).
  • The research supports the view that the quality of meat is influenced by the way it is produced. Under organic standards, cows must eat at least 60% fresh grass, or conserved hay/silage. Livestock must also be reared outdoors for at least part of the year.
  • The research also supports the view that the nutritional quality of meat is influenced by the way it is produced. The outdoor grazing/foraging based diets of organic farming were responsible for the more desirable fats found in organic compared to non-organic meat.
