Festive menu 2025 available 1st – 23rd December, except Sundays.

Supper Booking and preordering is helpful, but we also take walk-ins. Please call to book for groups of more than 10.
Large gangs, whom we love of course: If there is 20 of you or more, we insist on offering our generous sharing food options. It’s a very sociable activity – you choose three items from any or all of the menu sections above, and tell us. We serve you at the table on wooden boards and in big bowls and you help your neighbours
We take account of dietary needs and preferences IF we’ve been told about them – vegans need to give us 48 hours notice please.
We’ll ask for card details when you book, and no-shows will be charged at £10pp. 10% service charge (all to staff) on parties of 4 or more.
Most of the food here is produced on our organic Eastbrook Farm here in the village – meat, nuts, all veg, some dairy, some fruit. All of it cooked here. When we put a name against a dish, eg Pete, it’s because he/she either grew it, cooked it or created the dish, or generally irritated us in the preparing of this menu.
