Our organic grass-fed beef is sourced from trusted British farms where cattle are raised on pasture and forage, not intensive grain systems. Grass feeding produces beef with deeper flavour and natural marbling suited to both quick-cook steaks and slow-roasting joints. Whether you’re choosing organic mince, diced beef for casseroles or a rib or sirloin steak, you’re buying beef that reflects careful rearing and high animal welfare standards. For those looking to buy organic grass-fed beef online, provenance matters – and we make sure it’s there.
Good Beef is a by-product of our glorious dairy herds, so it has a much lower carbon footprint compared to beef produced from ‘suckler’ systems where a cow just rears one calf each year. Our Good Beef cattle live for about two years in our idyllic countryside, developing wonderful flavour on these rich, diverse pastures. Research shows that organic meat is beneficial to our health, so as well as being a high welfare, lower carbon and good for nature approach, Good Beef is better for us too.
- Always organic beef from sustainable British farming

FAQs
What is organic meat?
Organic meat means: NO pesticides/ herbicides used on fields, no animal by-products used for feed, no antibiotics or drugs used or fed to animals, no growth enhancers or hormones, no genetically-modified crops fed, no genetically-modified cattle, no irradiation of beef, and no participation in cloning. Helen Browning’s Organic is certified organic by the Soil Association.
Is buying grass-fed beef a planet-conscious, environmentally responsible choice?
Grass-fed and pasture-based farming restores natural ecosystems, reduces reliance on chemicals, and improves the soil with organic matter. It reduces greenhouse gasses (especially CO2.)
