Our organic lamb comes from our friends Mark and Nicola at Drovers Farm, where the lambs run freely through apple orchards, nibbling organic apples as they go. It’s a good life – and it makes very good lamb. From tender chops to generous roasting joints, this is wholesome, flavourful lamb, Soil Association certified and raised the right way.

Our grass-fed organic lamb is raised on pasture and orchard grass, developing tenderness and a clean, distinctive flavour. Season, forage and slow growth all influence the character of lamb, whether you’re roasting a whole leg, slow-cooking shoulder or grilling lamb chops. FAQs

What are organic lambs fed?
Our sheep graze on the lush grass pastures of a local organic farm in Buckinghamshire, run by friends with the same organic passion as Helen. Careful management allows a wealth of biodiversity and maintains healthy soils without the use of fertilisers or pesticides.

Why is grass-fed lamb better for us?
British lamb is one of the most naturally reared animals, especially organic lamb which is entirely grass-fed. Lamb grazed on pasture has less fat and more protein than more intensively reared grain-fed lamb. Not only is lamb a rich source of high-quality protein, but it is also an outstanding source of many vitamins and minerals, including iron, zinc, and vitamin B12.
