Mellona Raw Honey with Beetroot
Mellona are a family-owned company from Cyprus, the most eastern island of the Mediterranean Sea and one of the most interesting as well, due to its rich history and diverse flora. They have been operating in Limassol for the past 20 years.
The wonderful flavour of their honey is due to unique flora in the region. In spring, when the citrus trees blossom, the bee hives are moved to Fasouri, near Limassol. There, the bees collect nectar not only from the blossom of orange trees, but also from a variety of plants, herbs and trees that blossom during spring. In summer, the beehives are moved to the mountains where bees find flowers with enough nectar to support honey production.
Hand harvested raw honey from Cyprus, blended with vibrant beetroot. Deliciously sweet with a balanced earthy flavour and excellent nutritional value. Unheated, unfiltered, without blending or any other kind of processing. Natural nutrition. Deliciously sweet with a balanced earthy flavour, contains pollen, beneficial enzymes and other honeycomb small particles which are as healthy as honey itself.
Store in a cool, dry place. Not suitable for infants under 12 months. Made in Cyprus
