Turmeric, Five Spice and Honey Pulled Pork flat breads with Avocado & Coriander

We’ve just launched a new range of slow cooked organic pork – the first slow cooked organic pork meals to land on supermarket shelves/online stores.  Embracing everything we love about Autumn; cosy, comforting, deliciously tasty, nourishing social food.

This new range has been lovingly sous vide for 12 hours, cooked to perfection, so all you need to do is pop them in the oven for 30minutes when you get in the door.

Helen works with 5 or 6  farmers across the South of England producing great tasting organic British pork; slow cooked with a variety of flavours which infuse over 12 hours, giving deeper taste results than with virtually any other method.

This slow cooked pork range gives you social, celebratory food with all the hard work taken out.  Pork is a national treasure and this is pork at its best.  They serve between 2 – 6 people depending on how you decide to serve and how hungry you all are!

Sweet Chilli Pulled Pork Baguette with cucumber and watercress

Ingredients

  • Helen Browning's Organic Pulled Pork with Turmeric, Five Spice & Honey
  • Seedy flat breads
  • 1 large avocado lightly crushed
  • juice of half a lemon
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 baby tomatoes
  • 1/4 cucumber cut into chunks
  • handful of coriander, chopped

Method

Step 1

Cook the Pork Belly as instructed on the pack, when done remove and shred using 2 forks.  Drizzle the cooking sauces over the top and keep warm

Step 2

Season the mashed avocado with lemon juice, salt, pepper and chopped coriander to taste

Step 3

Lightly toast the flat bread then load with crushed avocado, sprinkle with cucumber chunks and tomato slices then fill with pulled pork
