Harissa Pulled Pork with couscous, coriander and pomegranate

We’ve just launched a new range of slow cooked organic pork – the first slow cooked organic pork meals to land on supermarket shelves/online stores.  Embracing everything we love about Autumn; cosy, comforting, deliciously tasty, nourishing social food.

This new range has been lovingly sous vide for 12 hours, cooked to perfection, so all you need to do is pop them in the oven for 30minutes when you get in the door.

Helen works with 5 or 6  farmers across the South of England producing great tasting organic British pork; slow cooked with a variety of flavours which infuse over 12 hours, giving deeper taste results than with virtually any other method.

This slow cooked pork range gives you social, celebratory food with all the hard work taken out.  Pork is a national treasure and this is pork at its best.  They serve between 2 – 6 people depending on how you decide to serve and how hungry you all are!

Harissa Pulled Pork with cous cous, coriander and pomegranate

Ingredients

  • Helen Browning's Organic Harissa Spiced Pulled Pork
  • 1 cup of barley couscous
  • Pomegranate seeds
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 1 green chilli, chopped
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • broccoli florets

Method

Step 1

Cook and pull the Harissa Spiced Pulled Pork.

Step 2

Put one cup of barley couscous in a heatproof bowl and pour over 1 cup of boiling water, stir and cover.  Fluff up the grains after 2 minuntes and again several times until done.  Add seasoning to taste and a little more water if needed.  Keep warm.

Step 3

Stir all the relish ingredients together in a bowl.

Step 4

When the pork is heated through, pull it apart with 2 forks, pour over the pork juices and serve on top of the couscous with pomegranate and chopped coriander.
