Helen Browning’s Chop House has joined sister restaurant Helen Browning’s Royal Oak with an entry in the Good Food Guide!
As mentioned in the Swindon Advertiser Chop House Manager Anne Roberts said winning a place in the guide was unbelieveable.
She said “It’s lovely, the pub has been in the guide for I don’t know how many years. We’re just the little Chop House, we do our best all day every day. It feels amazing! It’s a huge pat on the back to know we’re doing so well, the Chop House is the only place in Swindon that’s organic … it does set us apart in the town”

Traditionally a german festival to celebrate the harvest – but nowadays, lets face it, we don’t need too much of an excuse to celebrate great food and beer!
Led by Chop House’s very own Bavarian chef Manfred, expect lots of pork, fresh smoked mackerel, mashed potato, krauts and sausages as well as lots of great beers and wines.
There will be 2 big tables where you get to sit next to happy strangers, as well as one or 2 separate tables of 2 and 4.
