Belinda Carlisle is coming to Helen Browning’s Royal Oak on Saturday 19th May 2018. We know – Belinda Carlisle – in Bishopstone! Belinda will be playing a short acoustic set of songs with her band in our garden to raise money in support of her co-founded charity, Animal People Alliance.
Organised by Animal People Alliance, the evening is set to be fun-packed with music from Belinda, with a DJ to help us dance the night away. And there’ll be a vegetarian food market in the pub garden with food available throughout the night.
Before going solo and becoming a multi-platinum selling global female artist, Belinda also gained worldwide fame as lead singer of the Go-Go’s, one of the most successful female bands of all time. In the UK alone Belinda has had 19 ‘Top 40’ singles, and 7 ‘Top 20’ albums, and her latest album, Wilder Shores released in 2017, debuted No.3 on the Billboard World Album Chart, and No.1 on the Amazon and iTunes World Album Chart in both the U.S and Europe.
Come and join the fun and sing your heart out to some of the old favourites as well as the new.
Tickets £50 with 100% of proceeds from the event going to the Animal People Alliance – addressing animal welfare in Kolkata, India, and helping to train vulnerable women as paravets so they earn a living wage helping address animal neglect or cruelty.
