Our organic Christmas menu – much of it from our own organic farm, of course

Almost everything is organic, much of it local - most meats and dairy from our organic farm, Eastbrook, 6 miles from here - fish from Wing, MSC certified, all veg from Westmill at Sevenhampton - ice cream from buffaloes at Laverstoke Park - bread from Hobbs House

A selection of fish, meat and veggie organic sharing boards for one, two or more people. Share or fight over it

Meat Board

A selection of chicken satay, pork BBQ ribs, pigs’ cheek bon bon, pork terrine, warm bread, suitable dips, pickles

Fish Board

(wild or organic farmed where possible)
Including home pickled trout, salmon and smoked salmon roulade, calamari, crispy seaweed/kale, capers and blinis

Veggie Board

Tomato and goats’ cheese sushi, spicy chickpea and squash tagine, leek terrine, flat bread, pickles


Christmas Beef Burger

Eastbrook beef burger, layers of bacon and brie, cranberries, and crunchy brussels slaw, fries

Braised Rump of Eastbrook Beef

Slow cooked, Horseradish cream veloute, luxuriant mash, greens

Eastbrook Pork Belly Porcetta

Stuffed with sage and onion, lemon and chestnuts, apple and pear compote, dauphinoise potatoes

Christmas Vegetarian Burger

Nutty and cranberry filled burger, with a raw beetroot, pear and feta salad; and fries

Slow roast Eastbrook meat board to share (min two people)

Roast pork and beef cuts, plus one of lamb or chicken (depends on what’s available); bowls of greens, potatoes as we choose, and rich gravies and relishes
