In 2018 we launched ProHides on the farm which is a wildlife photography hides and courses project set up to give everyone the chance to photograph some of Britain’s most exciting species. Being an organic farm means the site is abundant with wildlife and photographic opportunities – some of which require more patience than others! The project is now headed up by James Andrews – formerly Development Manager for the award winning Jessops Academy Photography School and we have a range of exciting photographic ventures in development.
Wildlife Safaris – AVAILABLE NOW!
The farm hosts a wealth of organic wildlife throughout the year but finding it, and identifying it, can sometimes be challenging. James, our onsite photographer and wildlife enthusiast, will host you on your adventure across the stunning landscape. The safari will take you on a two-hour trip round our 1,500 acre site with James on hand to help you spot and identify the species of the farm. We have binoculars available to borrow if you don’t have your own, and a range of identification tools available. We’ll also show you our dedicated wildlife areas and hides around the farm which are set up for photographing some of the amazing animals that live here. The trip is a mixture of both walking and driving, so bring some sturdy outdoor shoes. It can be hosted at any time of day, although we do recommend early mornings or late afternoon to catch the animals at their most active.
Species regularly seen on this trip include kestrel, buzzard, red kite, hare, rabbit, woodland birds and pond life, although the organic farm has many wildlife species in residence including owls, badgers, foxes and polecats, so who knows what you might see – the possibilities are endless!
£75 for an individual booking and £25 per additional person – contact James to make a booking at: firstname.lastname@example.org
1-2-1 Photography Tuition – AVAILABLE NOW!
James is also available to offer 1-2-1 photography tuition, which can be personalised to both your level and to the images you want to capture. Prices start from £60/hour. If you’d like to make a booking please contact James to discuss your requirements: email@example.com
